She worked all week long, 7 am to 6 pm. She finally gets the weekend off and really needs to spend good time with her man.
She gets ready, puts on her best outfits and undies (she avoids the combo white skirt and purple top (yes she learned her lesson... Then the fight started... ).
Here she is, watching him intently in the eyes, the unmiskable light of desire glowing below her half closed eyelids... He looks at her, smiles and says ""Baby, I sorted so much cards today that my hands and fingers got sore..."".
She stands up, tears off her clothes, puts on a pair of old sweat pants and her new sneakers and walks out the house.
And she was wondering why he got this new pair of sneakers for her...
Next time, she will ask for a pair of stilettos...

Her : " Darling, you know I have an appointment with the lawyer this morning, do you think these clothes will do it ?"
She is wearing a white knee length skirt with a purple top.
Him : " Yes but I truly believe that you should increase your clothes, as i always see that same top and bottom..."
She storms out and gets naked.
Then the fight started...

The 5 toughest questions for men are:
1. What are you thinking about?
2. Do you love me?
3. Do I look fat?
4. Do you think she is prettier than me?
5. What would you do if I died?
What makes these questions so difficult is that each one is guaranteed to explode into a major argument if the man answers incorrectly ( i.e. tells the truth). Therefore, as a public service, each question is analyzed below, along with possible responses.
Question 1: What are you thinking about?
The proper answer to this, of course, is: “I’m sorry if I’ve been pensive, dear. I was just reflecting on what a warm, wonderful, thoughtful, caring, intelligent woman you are, and how lucky I am to have met you.”
This response obviously bears no resemblance to the true answer, which most likely is one of the following:
a. Baseball.
b. Football.
c. How fat you are.
d. How much prettier she is than you.
e. How I would spend the insurance money if you died.
(Perhaps the best response to this question was offered by Al Bundy, who once told Peg, “If I wanted you to know what I was thinking, I would be talking to you!”)
Question 2: Do you love me?
The proper response is: “YES!” or, if you feel a more detailed answer is in order, “Yes, dear.”
Inappropriate responses include:
a. Oh Yeah, shit loads.
b. Would it make you feel better if I said yes?
c. That depends on what you mean by love.
d. Does it matter?
e. Who, me?
Question 3: Do I look fat?
The correct answer is an emphatic: “Of course not!”
Among the incorrect answers are:
a. Compared to what?
b. I wouldn’t call you fat, but you’re not exactly thin.
c. A little extra weight looks good on you.
d. I’ve seen fatter.
e. Could you repeat the question? I was just thinking about how I would spend the insurance money if you died.
Question 4: Do you think she’s prettier than me?
Once again, the proper response is an emphatic: “Of course not!”
Incorrect responses include:
a. Yes, but you have a better personality.
b. Not prettier, but definitely thinner.
c. Not as pretty as you when you were her age.
d. Define pretty..
e. Could you repeat the question? I was just thinking about how I would spend the insurance money if you died.
Question 5: What would you do if I died?
A definite no-win question.
(The real answer, of course, is “Buy a Corvette!”)

Evidences of true love

As a couple, we really enjoy to talk about our readings and a few days ago we discussed over an article I read on a french website, Psychologies.com.
It was about 5 evidences showing that you are really in love.
# 1 To think that the other is mysterious...
Love is a mystery, we cannot explain rationaly this link that connects one to the other. It was this feeling of something missing in our life since our childhood that disappeared the day we met the person meant for us.
#2 To fear the loss of the one we love
No love without fears and risks. We go through problems, sometimes we choose to walk away, sometimes we face them together. We fear the death because to be two means a lot more to lose then before.
#3 To be willing to commit our lives without knowing what will happen
We don't have the total control of our feelings. We can reach levels of joy we never thought we would. Then fall. But we must believe that love is a miracle, love is a gift and it is worth fighting for and that it is easier to stand up again after the fall if the other stands by your side.
#4 A strong sexual desire for the other
Love brings desire. To make love with the one we love teach us how to be a better life partner, to get to know each other better. Now when sexual desire seems to fade away, it would be a mistake to think that love is gone. There are moments in life when we are so happy that the other exists ant that found him or her,it brings us intense satisfaction.
#5 To justify our existence
Jean Paul Sartre said " To be loved means to justify our own existence".To hear our lover says "YOU ARE THE ONE" gives to our life its real meaning.We exist because someone loves us and see us through magnificent glasses that smooth our defaults and enhance our qualities.
I couldn't translate the whole article (it's sunday afterall)and what you read above is more my impressions about the topic.
Whatever my partner and I discussed it over and it only confirmed what we already knew. Love is the air.

My partner and I have had a really interesting conversation earlier in the evening. He told me that it was time for us to stop worry about our relationship and to just enjoy the fact to be in love, to be together, to be healthy and to build a family. Another proof of how sensed he can be at times... Well he is most of the time anyways.
Am I good enough for him or for her ?
Do I fulfill all her / his needs ?
Why does he / she loves me ?
blah blah blah...
What is the most important ? We have love, we have fun, we have each other. It is fine like this.
Then let just enjoy life as it comes, together.

I noticed him a few days ago, walking in the street where I live. Young, cute, really friendly, a REAL cutie. Then I said to myself ""mmmm... where does he come from ? where does he live ? maybe he lives in the neighborhood..."".
As days passed by, I noticed that he noticed me as well, always checking out the gate of my property, maybe expecting to see me.
This little game lasted for 3 to 4 days. Until yesterday, when I saw him walking toward me, with a little blood on his nose, from a bad cut he got earlier in the day.
I called him, to come closer, he did. How cute he was. Really affectionate. Lovely.
So I said to him "" Where do you come from ? where do you live ? where is your house ? "" . But no answer. Just his tail shaking his whole body...
Then I went to see my neighbors... "" I found a little dog, white and brown, really cute, clean and sweet, is it yours ?""
No. No. No was the answer every time. So I came back home, called him and said "" Now you are mine !!!".
The following day, I was removing tape from my windows (yeah they say it would protect your house from broken glass if the wind blows your windows away during a hurricane. hah !), I was thus removing the tape with a cuter, making sure to not spread too much blood on the glass window (I'm kinda clumsy...) when I saw my new cute puppy looking at me from outside... I gazed back at him for a little while then said ""Romeo ?"". He shook his tail. I guess he enjoyed the name...
Maybe someone will seek him soon. It will not prevent me to be good to him though.

Yeah, I begin the weekend on my knees.
Drained.
Exhausted.
Empty.
My significant other will have a lot to do to bring me back on my feet.
I love that.
